Kitchen oil fume produced by fuel burning and oil heating contains carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides and other three hundred harmful substances that are likely to cause cancer. The DNP (main lung carcinogen) inhaled by housewives when prepare a meal in the kitchen is 188 times as much as the outdoor air. Surprisingly, the damage caused by cooking on the cooker that has poor ventilation system and burning efficiency is equal to that by smoking two packs of cigarettes a day! Therefore, it is extremely necessary to treat kitchen oil fume.

After years of development, current kitchen oil fume treating method includes mechanical method, filtration and adsorption method, Wen Shifa, electrostatic method and other methods of individual devices or combination. Engineering implementation based on the actual need to choose.

Here we will introduce a method of using electrostatic fume hood and ozone in the kitchen fume treatment, the specific process is as follow:

Explanation of process flow:

Use fume collector to collect the fume of the kitchen, and the flue gas passes through the pipeline to enter the electrostatic fume hood which is a new device. At both ends of the cathode and anode, the high voltage is applied to form an electric field which causes the air ionization between the poles to form a directional electron flow. Electron flow and oil droplet collides, so that the oil droplets can be collected easily. It is easy to treat and has no secondary pollution. This equipment is very effective in removing oil fume, has high removal rate of blackness Greenman  and small resistance. Therefore, there is no need to replace the supplies.

Ozone is a strong oxidizing agent which is environmentally friendly. After mixing with fume after electrostatic dust removal, ozone can decompose harmful organic components in the smoke, remove the peculiar smell, and further purify the smoke. Connect the stainless steel pipe with gas pipe, and then dose with the amount of 3-5mg/m. After mixture of high-speed flow of flue gas and ozone, it takes 3-5 seconds to complete reaction. Then the flue gas is discharged through induced draft fan.

This method is mature and has good purifying effect. It is also an efficient, economical and environmental protection kitchen fume purification system.
